This is my Black Lives Matter and Black Culture Board. It is full of a representation of my people’s history and present. Much of it is sad and painful but it is real. To ignore it would be like pretending it didn’t happen or is not still happening in 2020. There is also the joy of a people that had everything taken away from them and continue to this day to use their gifts and talent to thrive.
