http://facebook.com/thejoydreambelievepage I want to share some of the books that changed my life for the better. These are just a few that had an impact on how I think and what I believe. They were so useful in my journey past and present .
I’ve learned so much and when I read something that alters my consciousness I feel this shift of energy that is healing to my spirit. I know its truth.
During times emotional turmoil and despair I searched for answers to my problems and the woes of the world. I always did and still do feel comfort and joy when I read an inspirational book. It feels like I am being spoken to personally and I gradually snap out of my low mood.
I tell myself sometimes there will be days like this. I ask myself Why?, did something happen to to trigger my emotions ? If it did I really try to dig deep for understanding. If I’m just feeling some kind of way because that is just me and part of my mental health condition I learned that it will pass. I can’t let anything throw me off course and into ” fear and doubt “. I spent too much of my life being bounced back and forth.
I will never try to change anyone’s beliefs. I don’t have that power. Read, with an open mind, then decide what applies to you. I’m a believer in proof so I try things to see what works.
There were so many times especially in youth that I thought about and brought about the opposite of what I wanted to happen by worry and doubt. Don’t let your fears hold you hostage. You can break free I did.
I just re-read. “Always Believe in Your Dreams and Yourself and plan on re-reading many more of my feel good books .
Notice the recurring theme of mental wellness and happiness. Before and after I came to grips with the fact that I had a treatable real medical issue I was searching for remedies. I will never minimize getting professional mental health treatment if things are too much to handle or depression continues for two weeks. Don’t try to go it alone reach out help is there.
